For students who are entering high school or are currently enrolled in high school, ANSEP has a suite of opportunities that will prepare students for college and beyond. Through rigorous academic and social engagement, high school students who participate in ANSEP components will:
- Earn college credits
- Learn to navigate the university
- Build self-esteem, determination and study skills
- Be more efficient working in teams
- Adjust to living away from home
- Have fun doing hands-on science and engineering projects and coursework
- Gain knowledge of and familiarity with college life and urban Alaska
- Be better prepared to earn a college degree!
